4D EXPERIENCE AT SITAR HOUSE

We're looking for brave adventurers of all ages to go on a virtual journey to the depths of the hidden underground world!

Before they can enter, our explorers need to solve a puzzle to get the entry code. The mistery can only be solved by those most resourceful!

In this unique 4D simulation you will, through animation and elements of gamification, experience a journey beneath the surface of the Earth and learn about all the geological characteristics, ground layers and breaks , hot and cold springs and therein living animal species and also other interesting tourist spots in the area of Dolenjske Toplice. During this journey to the source of life you may even meet our most mysterious mythical water creature – Brbuč.

Enjoy the special effects! Intensive, animated and enriched with multiple special effects, the experience is projected on a special screen and takes you into a whole new world. The project is being carried out by the Municipality of Dolenjske Toplice and is co-funded by Republic of Slovenia and EU regional developement fund.

Welcome to an exciting experience we have prepared for you here at Sitar House! The visitors are required to register in advance.

IMPORTANT: The capacity is maximum 5 persons, children, younger than 14 years can enter only under adult supervision. It is best if you sit down immediately after entering and stay sitting during the entire time of the projection. Close the door behind you when entering or exiting. Persons with sensory sensitivities are advised caution (the visitors feel strong vibrations, shaking, there are sound and visual special effects, such as flashing lights).

4D experience was created within the framework of the project: Water – The Source of Life! The main goal of this project is raising awareness of environmental responsibility, with a special emphasis on protection of water (re)sources, underwater habitats and water life, and the importance of natural and cultural heritage for strenghtening the local community.

You can enjoy the new 4D experience during Tourist Information Centre working hours at Sitar House. The price of the ticket is EUR 3 per person and is free for children under the age of 6.
